Duo-Clozure Brass Washing Machine Shutoff Valve with Wall Box and Decorative Trim Plate
Series 2M2 DWB Duo-Clozure(TM) brass washing machine shutoff valves incorporate a Watts Series 2 Duo-Cloz(TM) washing machine shutoff valve with a molded plastic wall box enclosure, decorative trim plate and ½ inch ell solder connections for a complete installation.
The Duo-Cloz(TM) brass washing machine shutoff valve is designed to simultaneously control the flow of both hot and cold water to the appliance. The ball-type design allows it to be opened to any position to throttle water flow and minimize harmful water hammer and banging pipes caused by fast closing washing machine solenoid valves. The molded plastic enclosure with top and side knockouts accepts the hot and cold water supply piping as well as a 1 1/2 and 2 inch (40 and 50mm) drain knockout to accommodate the waste drain pipe. The trim plate can be decorated to blend in with the wall finish.
