NYC Backflow Specialty Items
These kits are made to address the specific needs of the New York City backflow market. In order to avoid time consuming and costly drilling of flanges to properly tag backflow preventers, Watts NYC bolts kits are supplied with four sets of 304 stainless steel bolts/nuts, with a ¼” hole drilled axially through the bolt. Also, to easily meet NYC rules on protecting against 8-hours of maximum RPZ discharge, a discharge control plate for the LF909 is available for valves sizes 4”-10”.
These specialty items are available in separate kits:
Pre-drilled NYC Bolts Kits: The bolts/nuts are available for flanges sizes 2 ½”-10” in separate kits of 4.
NYC Discharge Control Plate: The discharge control plate comes with the hardware necessary to install it. The new discharge profile is available below.
