PRV-2-U 1

This 1 inch water pressure reducing valve is designed to reduce incoming water pressure to a manageable level to protect plumbing system components and reduce water consumption. All parts are easily serviceable without removing the valve from the line. This valve consists of a bronze body, NPT threaded union inlet x NPT female outlet, integral stainless steel strainer, thermoplastic seat, bronze cage, reinforced diaphragm, and thermal expansion bypass. The standard bypass feature permits the flow of water back through the valve into the main when pressures, due to thermal expansion on the outlet side of the valve, exceed the pressure in the main. The standard reduced pressure setting is 50 psi (3.4 bar) and adjustable reduced pressure range is 25 to 75 psi (1.7 to 5.2 bar). The maximum working pressure is 400 psi (27.6 bar).
