RESTRAINT
This restraining device with mounting hardware is installed where a gas connector is connected on gas cooking equipment to enhance safety and sanitation in commercial kitchens. The restraining device kit prevents transmission of the strain to the food service gas connector. ANSI Z21.69 standard requires that each gas connector used on equipment with caster-mounted or fixed legs is moved for cleaning or service repair and should also be installed with a restraining device, which limits strain on the connector.
