LFC300
Colt Series LFC300, LFC300N double check detector assemblies prevent backflow of pollutants that are objectionable but not toxic, from entering the potable water supply system. Its compact housing consists of two independently operating tri-link check valves, two shutoff valves, and four test cocks. This assembly features a stainless steel housing and sleeve and is 70% lighter than traditional designs.
This series is designed for non-health hazard applications and may be installed under continuous pressure service to protect against both backpressure and backsiphonage. This Series is used primarily on fire sprinkler lines when it is necessary to monitor unauthorized use of water. Maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
The TS-OSY model is equipped with a factory installed, durable, and robust supervisory switch (UL Certified, Safety Signaling, Control No. 3L38) for tamper detection. The alert sounds when attempts are made to remove the switch from the gate valve or to close the valve. Wiring of the supervisory switch to a fire alarm control panel is required.
